Rizzo cited overall high IT support costs in migrating data, pointing to one app available in the Google Marketplace that migrates Exchange data to Google Apps at the cost of $20 per user. Beyond internal IT support, though, support from Google can also pose a problem in that the company doesn’t offer 24-7 support. On weekends and holidays, Google responds only to certain priority 1 requests, with no support for lower-priority issues, Rizzo said.
In this architecture, multiple sources are incorporated into a technology-enabled process that cap-tures and normalizes safety information into a Safety Warehouse. In addition to supporting regulatory requirements, this warehouse is used in conjunction with signal detection information to enable the proactive analysis (via decision-support technology) of the drug’s efficacy and safety.
“It was clear from the feedback and evaluations that the workshop gave the attendees insight into the ABC issues and the importance of solving them. EXIN For more than 10 years these issues have existed. Nobody takes responsibility for solving them,” Wilkinson said.
EXIN qualification program according to ISO/IEC 20000 combined with the ABC of ICT method offer innovative solutions beyond what the most common frameworks can provide. These were common issues shared by many of the participants and highlights the need for a new approach to ITSM.
