It’s still selling embedded operating systems to computer and device makers, but the big money is in stacks of software, servers and services in such industries as retail, health care, manufacturing and automotive.

Snapfish will select four events from all submissions and will fund up to $1,500 in product for each event that is selected.
Snapfish also invites its members to show how they are supporting breast cancer awareness month by encouraging them to write to pinkgives with their event details – whether it’s a walk, fundraising campaign or party – for a chance to receive Snapfish support as an official photo sponsor for their breast cancer awareness-related event.
Some of the early analytics projects underway at the university level were inspired by IBM’s Watson technology – the most advanced analytics technology currently available. IBM has teamed with universities to work on the sophisticated technology associated with Watson’s deep-Question and Answer capabilities, giving more than 10,000 students exposure to analytics technology.
IBM, through Silk, will provide technology, operations, applications and infrastructure services to “la Caixa” and will manage its data processing centers, located in Cerdanyola del Valles and San Cugat (Barcelona). The IBM-provided scope represents about half of this budget, while the remainder is directed to additional third-party service providers.
